Simon and Sons is family owned and operated and has been proudly serving Newmarket and surrounding areas since 1967. With our experience and product knowledge, we will help you select window and door styles that best suit your home and budget.

Our showroom, located in the heart of Newmarket, displays a full selection of window and door products. We highly recommend you come in personally to see the quality, options, and our installation methods.

We are proudly Canadian with a special focus on products and materials manufactured here at home. Most of our suppliers are located nearby within the Greater Toronto Area.

All our installations are managed by our own team – we never outsource or sub-contract our installations. You can feel comfortable knowing our experienced installers will arrive to your home in our trucks, equipped with all the necessary materials to complete your job at the highest quality.

Our History

In 1967, Canada’s Centennial year, a young Dutch immigrant, Simon, together with his wife, Betty, started a new business, running it from their home on Srigley Street in Newmarket.

They started their company, Simon’s Aluminum, specializing in aluminum siding, eavestrough and soffit.  As the business grew, Simon purchased a property on Main St. North where he built a small warehouse to house their supplies.  The business expanded and evolved, eventually focusing on windows and doors.  Simon’s vision continued to grow and in 1984 he built the existing showroom and large warehouse to better serve his customers.  By that time, both of his sons, Derrick and Peter, had joined the business and it was renamed Simon & Sons. When Simon retired, they assumed the role of running the business, continuing to build it into its current success.

Today, Simon & Sons operates as a third-generation business, owned, and operated by Derrick and his sons Colin and Evan. We are proud to be Newmarket’s longest standing window and door company.

For more than 55 years Simon & Sons has been part of the community, supporting many local sports teams and leagues. We have built a reputation as a trustworthy family business dedicated to our community, customer service and delivering quality products.  Our Simon and Sons family of talented installers take pride in their workmanship and strive to provide the ultimate in customer satisfaction. Our installers have been instrumental in our success with their finished product being the foundation of our word-of-mouth referrals.
